The Mill Creek Canyon Transportation Feasibility Study is led by the Salt Lake County Public Works Department. Other agencies that are providing guidance on the study include Salt Lake County Planning and Development Services, Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation, the United States Forest Service Wasatch-Cache Ranger District, the Utah Transit Authority, and the Wasatch Front Regional Council.
The project team will be interviewing other stakeholders with an interest in Mill Creek Canyon, including the Boy Scouts of America, representatives from commercial interests such as Log Haven and Mill Creek Inn, local community councils, fire and police service providers, elected officials, and many other groups. These stakeholders will provide feedback on issues, concerns and ideas in the Canyon, and can act as a medium between the project team and the larger community.
This report was funded through a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Paul S. Sarbanes Transit in Parks (TRIP) program grant, formerly known as Alternative Transportation in Parks and Public Lands (ATPPL) program.
